Updated: 10 May 2007: Do you hear that? yes, that–no. no. no. not THAT, but this… Yes, unadulterated quiet and calm. It’s over… finally.

Now accepting all offerings of good mojo, juju, karma, and plain dumb luck this week. Why, you ask?

IT’S FINALS WEEK!!! And I can use it all!

4 3 2 1 more days of hell,
5 days until Doyle graduates,
5 days until I get 10 WHOLE days off before the next semester begins,
50-ish days before I graduate,
50-ish days until I get 1.75 months off to play!!!
and @ 30 days before the rugrat returns from the mainland.

A‘ight. it’s been a damn long while–cursing and hissyfits shall abound (maybe!)

WTF#1 (Not really a WTF, but sorta–leave good vibes) My bestest friend is having an outpatient surgery today and she gets to leave the doc on crutches returned home doing very well with a fantastic recovery outlook (hopefully now, a quick recovery–I couldn’t understand her as the meds kicked in, lol).

WTF #2. Because I cannot prove my citizenship (birth certificate is not enough), I lost my medical insurance as of yesterday. I don’t have immigration papers because I was born in Texas and not while it belonged to Mexico (or I age damn well)! My momma was an alien, but even she had a green card, and besides, she was born in Germany. So I shouldn’t have to prove that I am not Mexican. Some little moronic oversight, I suppose, but I am uninsured at the moment because of it. Everyone got lots of giggles out of it, but do recall, I have been dubbed SWP–Spoiled Whitebread Princess, so the irony of it all is hilarious, PS I want my damn insurance back!

WTF #3. Went shopping yesterday and the drug store double-charged us. This has happened before at a dept. store, but never for $144.80 twice and not at the drug store. This is the 2nd time in as many months. Of course, it takes weeks for accounting to fix all of this on their end.

WTF #4. I had to take an 8-hour exam on my computerly abilities to graduate–I finished the exam in less than 2 hours. The man took it the same day I did and his results were formally recorded. The registrar seemed to forget mine, so am stuck trying to get that back on my record.

WTF #5. After 1.5 months, 7 emails, public bitching (college forum), mass panic and completing a paper with vague specifications, my professor has reappeared at the last hour. Of course, the day after I wing the paper is now extra credit in lieu of his prolonged and unnannounced absence.

WTF #5. I know I have neglected my blog ut why is delicious posting my own crap to my own blog? I’m out of the loop and haven’t upgraded my WP in like, forever. So WTF is that all about?! I’m being spammed with my own frikkin links. And friends, let me add, that is just sooo wrong on soooo many levels! lmao. The crap is sitting about my comments in some posts like here…

WTF #6. I still have a dead fetal pig in my hallway. Would ya think I might want to get rid of it since I finished this human bio class a semester ago. . .

WTF #7. Crazy neighbor with the frikkin bird is a whack job. She came home last night and introduced the boyfriend of the day/week/whathave you to the bird. uh-huh.

WTF #8. Someone spammed the living crap out of the MBC forum a couple of weeks ago… I’m still manually removing freaks and posts. . . Assholes. *Database clean 3 hrs later…

And last, but not least… The muthah of WTFs! I finally broke down and submitted to the hell of myspace so as the wayward lamb that I am, could keep up with family. I am rather proud, however, that I held out as long as was humanly possible. So, here I am on myspace!
